Our Architectural Review Committee has created a list of pre-approved paint color schemes. These schemes are combinations of three colors for the body, accent, and trim of your home. Each scheme has been selected to match the overall color theme of homes in Orenco Meadows. After choosing a scheme, we recommend that you paint samples of the colors on your house. The onscreen appearance of the colors will vary greatly depending on your device and viewing conditions. You must submit an application before painting. Choosing a pre-approved paint color scheme will speed up the Architectural Review Committee review process.

Open Pre-Approved Paint Color Schemes at Sherwin Williams

Do I have to buy paint from Sherwin Williams?

No. Sherwin Williams offers a convenient website where HOA's can list pre-approved color schemes. Orenco Meadows decided to use this service. If you purchase paint from another company then choose a pre-approved scheme and have them match the colors. Submit an application and the Architectural Review Committee will review the color match.

Do I have to use a pre-approved color scheme?

No. You are free to choose your own colors and combinations. However, we ask that you review the pre-approved schemes and select colors and combinations that are similar in appearance. Submit an application and the Architectural Review Committee will review your custom scheme.

If I choose a pre-approved color scheme then do I have to submit an ARC application?

Yes. Our CC&Rs require approval from our Architectural Review Committee for any change to the external appearance of your property. This includes choosing a pre-approved color scheme. After approval, a copy of your application will be kept to document your choice of scheme.

If I paint my house the same colors then do I have to submit an ARC application?

If you use exactly the same colors then our CC&Rs don't require ARC approval. The new paint must not change the external appearance of your property other than to improve its appearance.

Why are paint colors on my house not in the list of pre-approved color schemes?

The ARC decided that existing colors and combinations are considered a pre-approved scheme for that house. If you want to use a color from another house then you will need to submit an ARC application as this will change the external appearance of your property.
